Exe 4's had their second league match of the season this weekend at home to Sidmouth and Ottery. With new players joining the team, MOM Rosie in our defensive line and fab stand in goal keeper Maya; Exe worked hard to communicate and maintain possession. Despite this Exe were down 5-0 at half time.
With a rowsing half time talk from Captain Caroline and a change in formation for the team, Exe went back out in the second half with renewed energy and fight! A better half but the final score ended at 8-0 :(
All in all a great effort from the whole team, showing great team spirit and determination. Lots of positives to move forward with for the season despite the scoreline.
