After last week’s performance we went into this game knowing that we had won the league, but that didn’t stop Exe 3s from bringing their A game. Shortly, during a well-oiled short corner Lucy Brook slotted the ball home. Isca 4s then fought back after this and we conceded a goal. The start of the second half saw Roxy Lewis neatly score a goal, which was then followed by Anya Kilburn- Thompson scoring a beautiful goal from the baseline. Unfortunately, I then caused a penalty flick by catching the ball from which they then scored from. The final score was a 3-2 win to Exe 3s. I’m proud of my Hockey Team for the promotion and to have been their Captain for the season, good luck in the last few games and see you next year. Man of the Match goes to Anya Kilburn- Thompson.
