The start to the second half of the season began well. It was not long before Evie Jones put a final touch on the ball to steal from Anya. She soon evened things up though with a goal of her own from a reverse stick lifted shot. Teign 2 remained focussed and strong, lucky so was Sarah Jones pulling off some cracking saves. The half time the score was 2-1 from a converted Teign short corner. In the second half we seemed to have the upper hand with some fantastic forward runs down both wings from Evie, Daisy, Jess and Megan. Even Becky G made a solo run up into the D. We think she was lost! Megan made some lovely passes across the D, one of which was converted by Lucy. 3-1 and things were looking a bit more comfortable. Anya continued to make some confident solo runs down the middle of the pitch with final passes allowing Cissie to score 2 goals in quick succession in the last 5 minutes to make the final score 5-1. Great start, let's keep it going!
