| Match Report | The game started with Exe4 having most of the possession. We entered attacking Torbay goal several times but just couldn't score. Torbay2 defended well and a couple of times they broke through to the last 25 meters. However they were closed down quickly by Emma Renshaw and Exe goalie did not touch the ball once in the whole game. At half time the score was 0-0. Early in the second half unfortunately Torbay defender got injured. We wish her all the best and a speedy recovery. Our attack continued and then the goals came. After some great penetrating runs from Amanda Royle, Emma Scott & Sarah Jackman. We exerted pressure and the goals came. Man of the Match goes to Lavinia De Saram for her outstanding work in defence. final score 4-0. Well done Exe4s. |
